ASUS Malaysia organized a mobile game tournament on Free Fire Battlegrounds known as ASUS King of Mobile 2018 at MyTown Shopping Mall, Cheras.

A joint collaboration between ASUS Malaysia and with support from Garena Malaysia, Mighty Monster, and Monster Energy, the tournament saw 80 participants doing battle to see who’s the strongest and worthy to be crowned this year’s King of Mobile. The tournament also saw hundreds of attendees showing support for the participants in their journey to be the best around.

This is the second time ASUS Malaysia organized the King of Mobile game tournament together with Last year’s tournament saw participants go through 4 different games in order to be crowned the King so this year, everything was more centralized and focused on a single game, which is Free Fire Battlegrounds.

The tournament had a total of 20 squads consisting of 4 players in each squad with a total of 7 games; 4 preliminary rounds, 2 semi-final rounds, and 1 grand final round. While most of the games were held in a team-based format, the final round was a free-for-all battle to see who the last man standing is.

After a grueling battle of patience and skills, the King of Mobile for this year is Abdul Malik, and he walked away with the King of Mobile trophy, the ASUS ZenFone Max Plus M1, ROG Ranger Backpack, Mighty Monster vouchers, and Garena in-game premiums. Runner ups Azwan Radzali, Noor Alif Danial, and Siti Aisyah did not walk away with empty hands as they nabbed some Mighty Monster vouchers, Garena in-game premiums as well as the ASUS ZenFone Max Plus M1 for their notable achievements in the tournament. To thanks those who stayed until the end, ASUS Malaysia also had numerous lucky draw prizes up for grabs, including the ASUS ZenFone 4 Max and many ROG accessories.
