ASUS announces Transformer Book Flip laptops starting from RM1699

ASUS Malaysia announces three new variant of their all new Transformer Book Flip which was launched officially in Malaysia yesterday.  The ASUS Transformer Book Flip is a very stylish and affordable Windows 8.1 laptop with the ability to enable the screen to be set at any angle between 0 and 360 degrees. Of course you don’t have to be worried about how fragile it could be and ending up reducing the life span of the laptop itself as ASUS claims the flip itself is very versatile and can be used as either a very powerful laptop, a tablet, or even two of them in one single gadget.

The three new variants are all powered by the 4th – generation Intel Haswell processors which includes i3, i5, and i7 itself. You get out of the box of Windows 8.1 for all of the variants. When it comes to the graphics, the i3 variant has only on board graphics to be offered while the other two variants has Nvidia’s 840M with a dedicated VRAM of 2GB DDR3.  All of them comes pre-installed with 4GB of RAM, USB 3.0, Bluetooth 4.0 and of course WiFi connectivity. However, the i3 variant comes with only 500GB of HDD storage while the other two variants which are the i5 and i7 both comes with 500GB of HDD plus an extra 24GB SSD storage.

Other exciting features such as SonicMaster audio, one – piece chiclet keyboard, and a large touchpad with Smart Gesture support. Below are the details of each model:-
