ASUS has announced the availability of ASUS Zenfone Go on the official online store earlier today. This seem like a direct replacement model to the entry level ASUS Zenfone C. This is clearly an entry level model but with greater specifications.
A quick recap on the specifications. The Zenfone Go comes with a 5-inch IPS HD display ( 1280 x 720 ). Under the hood you get a Mediatek Quad core processor clocked at 1.3GHz. Internally you get 2GB of RAM and 16GB of ROM. You can also expand the memory with the micro SD card slot made available up to 64GB.
This is a non LTE smartphone, supports 3G. Do take note that this is a dual SIM device with dual Standby. Both of them are Micro SIMs.
You get 8 Megapixel f2.0 rear camera with LED flash while the front selfie camera comes at 2 Megapixel. Last but not least, the battery capacity of ASUS Zenfone Go is 2070 mAh.
These specifications indicates that this could be a tight competitor to the rest of similar priced smartphones from Xiaomi, Honor and more. The question is, which one is your ideal choice?

However, you can only get either Black or White color as rest of the colors are not officially available in Malaysia although it is indicated as “coming soon” in ASUS Malaysia’s online store.
