Its a wrap! WeChat Speed All-Star Race Finals

Last Sunday, which is two days ago, WeChat Malaysia organized the finals of the WeChat Speed All-Star Race that took place at Paradigm Mall, Kelana Jaya and with the presence of celebrities such as Adam C, Adrian Tan, Diana Danielle, Elfira Roy, JJ and Yumi Wong, the whole event was a success as it was totally crowded and seeked people to actually spend some quality time over there and witness the whole event throughout the prize-giving ceremony. To make the finals much merrier, Mr Louis Song, the Country Manager for both Malaysia and Singapore, Mr Vincent Fang, Assistant General Manager of International Business Group, Tencent Holdings, and Ms Leong YE, Business Development Director of WeChat Malaysia were present and supported throughout the finals.

Although there were six celebrities present together with their team members, only three celebrities with their team members managed to qualify to the grand finale which are Team Adam C, Team Diana Danielle, and Team Yumi Wong. With tough competition among themselves, and after a tough fight Team Adam C managed to clinch the title of champion and emerged victorious. As the winning team, they were awarded the grand prize of RM6000 while Koo Hock Teck, a member of Team Yumi Wong was awarded RM1000 despite being having the highest overall score.

This is the first ever WeChat social gaming contest ever held in the ASEAN region and Mr Louis Song said the reason being is because Malaysia is the perfect ground to kick start such contest despite its high smartphone penetration up to 90% when it comes to mobile data usage.
